FAQ's - Frequently Asked Questions

We have prepared a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) concerning our apartment rental services. You will find questions and answers such as:

When should I start looking for an apartment?
Depending upon your needs it is a good idea to start looking for a new apartment 30 to 60 days in advance. However if you are looking for special features in a market rate rental then you should start looking earlier than 60 days. Also certain special rental programs for low income families, low income seniors and people with disabilities can have long wait lists. It is important for those with these issues and special rental requirements to start looking earlier and put their names on wait lists. In most cases there will not be a charge to be put on a wait list.

How does the website Ross-Rentals.com work?
This website consists of listings of the rental properties managed by The Ross Management Group. Ross Management Group is an Accredited Management Organization (AMO®) since 1990. The AMO® is the only designation awarded to firms by the Institute of Real Estate Management, and only slightly more than 500 firms nation-wide have achieved it. The Ross Management Group has consistently met the stringent experience, education, professional skills, financial stability, integrity and procedures/practices criteria necessary to qualify for this accreditation. For the consumer this equates to a landlord that cares about the tenants and the property.

Do you have apartments that accept pets?
We have some properties that accept pets and others that do not. When you find a property that you are interested in inquire about their pet policy.

How long will my appointment take?
The length of appointments to view a community and available apartments can vary depending upon how many units are available and how thoroughly the community is toured. We find that it generally takes 2 to 3 hours to review a community.

Do I need to make an appointment?
We recommend that you call ahead for an appointment. With a scheduled appointment you will have a generous amount of time to view all the details of the property. In general all of our properties have leasing agents onsite however they are out of the office at times with other property duties therefore calling ahead for an appointment is a good idea.
